So, how does the WWE restore my faith in ECW?  That's right, Bobby Lashley vs Big Show for the ECW Title.  Who am I to doubt the braintrsust of the McMahon family?The_Dude14

I am praying ECW takes a trip back to NYC or Philly very soon with that as the Main Event. So it gets to ovation it really deserves.

Just read that tonight it's gonna be DX & Hardyz vs. MNM & Rated RKO.trick_man01

I don't think the Hardyz will be getting much offense in being that 1) their partners are DX and 2) They have been non-stop the past 2 weeks schedule wise. 

Well, theMasterlock segment came right out of the TNA handbook.

The Masterlock Challenge made about as much sense as any TNA Title match.  Are they going to continue to sell the Masterlock as unbroken?  And does Cena have a new Ultimate Submission to play with?  Seriously, how did any of that make sense?

The pull apart brawl reeked of Joe-Angle (though its as old as wrestling), except about a third as effective because this time it was two cartoon characters in the brawl.

I believe Matt is just as if not more over with the fans than Jeff. WWE may not use him like they should, but he gets huge pops that I guess creative dont acknowlege. The crowds pretty hot for Raw tonight too. Lots of chants and heat for the heels in the main event.

Anyone else notice that Matt and Jeff's Tron video said "The Hardys" last night?trick_man01

The Masterlock Challange for the WWE Title was very lame, like John Cena was going to loes to Chris F'n Masters, and if Cena would have lost he would of just gotten his rematch the next week, and beat Masters , but now I'm looking to far ahead.

Other than that it was a good RAW.

Lame Ariel vs Kelly Kelly match, notice Kelly didnt use the Chelsea intro music, she used the song from Wreckless Intent Album, Holla which is meant for Candice.

Umm, couple of scoopy slams and Big Show couldnt kick out... whatever.

I didn't realize that Mike Knox had any mic skills, but he's pretty good on the mic. Lashley botched the finish and it was kind of funny to see Show and Lashley making up stuff to try to fill time for another scoop slam attempt. If John Cena didn't FU Big Show like 20 times already then it would have seemed much more impressive than it did.trick_man01

Yes this is true that Lashley should be able to pick up Big Show if cena could than why not Lashley, and this make Lashley look very, very weak.

Well Lashley wasn't going for the Scoop slam he kept trying to nail the Oklahoma slam...which he did at the end. Picking him up is hard because he so big, you not just letting him rest on your shoulders like the F-U but using just one arm. I can speak from experience it is hard to pick a really big guy(Not in a fireman carry), but putting them down with out dropping him on his head is harder.

Raw was meh....So Kenny is around and there is no more Lance "Bradshaw" Cade...and the Masters/Cena fiasco.

ECW was just a big cluster**** and thats all I have to say about that.

ECW really needs to go. Boring feuds, same old stuff in every match, and complete unorganization. Plus, Lashley is the ECW Champion.:roll:

-This Mike Knox/Kelly Kelly love storyline is horrible. Nobody gives a **** about Mike Knox.
-Lashley vs. Big Show was a complete snorefest. It sucks Big Show had to end his career with a crappy match like that.

The WWE needs to either get plans to trash ECW, or clean it up a bit so I can keep up with what's going on.

Now, let's look at this from all angles here.

You and I, along with the rest of the people here are considered 'smarks' therefor, we think we are...better, to say the least. Better in opinions, knowledge etc. So big show vs. Bobby Lashley, or Umaga vs. John Cena might seem like to the bottom of the barrel to us.

However, to the stereotypical 'mark' the exact opposite of 'us' this is like the next coming of god. Now think, three faces all hold championship belts on three separate brands, and all is good to them.

In WWE management, the triple face combo's merchandise is selling like hot cakes, especially a certain 'John Cena' who seems to be pretty popular. Faces winning = money and ratings. The last thing the WWE wants to do is get the people who buy the tickets to their TV events mad. Even though that seems very unrealistic at times.

This is all of course my opinion, you guys can disagree/fight over this all you want.

Well, in MistaMike54's defense, I can see where he is coming from. RVD isn't champion for the simple fact that mangement isn't happy with him, thusly not putting the title on him. Look at Orton: it took a while for him to get 'trust' with management before he could get a title. That's why the title is on the three faces: management trusts them. And as for Hardcore Holly and Test being utilized now, it's because ECW is the 'Heat/Velocity' of the brands. You have your major players on Raw (DX, Rated RKO, Cena, etc.) and SmackDown! (Batista, King Booker, Taker, etc.) and then you have the guys who would be stuck underneath them (Test, Hardcore Holly, Big Show, etc.) there because they actually get a chance to wrestle and it 'means something'. You're right though that ECW isn't hardcore anymore, but that gives Vince a chance to control the atmosphere how he feels right.

I'll end on this: You know ECW isn't ECW anymore when Sandman is busting beer cans on his head right above 7 year olds with "Hustle. Loyalty. Respect." shirts on.

umm yeeaa--- vickie and ashley suck at acting.

 all the storylines on smackdown are so boring, except for the englishmen vs. londricks. thats the only thing i like about smackdown right now, of course it would be better if they werent doing the "love triangle" plot. but anyway, all the other storylines seem so old. i mean weve seen kane v mvp/ taker v kennedy (vice-versa) about 5 times now. and benoit in his feud with chavo is so dumb cuz well chavo and vickie are boring--thats it, they just bore me to death. and for the main eventers, we need a good, face main eventer cuz batista is basically the only one. and after we get a good one, separate booker or finlay and put him in that feud.
